Thursday. Typical Thursday. I just realized that I was going home so early, just to watch UAAP. I called a lot of people just to know what the score is and who is leading. ADMU vs. DLSU. It was 7-5 in favor of la salle. It was nearly half-time when I got home. ADMU was finally leading (thanks to TIUtsie who set the game for his teammates). It was so intense that I experienced jumping on the sofa once again. Hahahaha. I was wearing a blue top and screaming "Get that ball, Ateneo!" I was so giddy knowing that thousands of people are doing the same thing! Maierhoffer and Casio graduated. Not that I am happy about it. But it would be more intense if they played until the final second. Honestly, I think Maierhoffer raised his index, not the middle. :)
During the last 2 mins of the final quarter, the score was 49-59. People wearing blue started to celebrate. Jai Reyes and TIUtsie were also celebrating with Coach Norman. They felt it, they know it. They were already hugging each other and screaming "Wooohh!". They were so assured when Jai scored more points on free throw. TIUtsie had the ball for the last 5 seconds of the game. He hugged the ball and when the time stopped, everyone was screaming and the court seemed to be a bed of blue people. TIUtsie threw the ball. I wonder what he was thinking that very moment. They celebrated.. Then I saw TIUtsie hugging his teammates and Coach Norman. He was crying dammit! It was so emotional I cried too. Hahahaha. It's his last year and he had a nice exit. He's capt. ball of the UAAP Season 71 Champions, he led that team to victory. :) I hope you could still shoot some hoops TIUtsie. It'd be different but I would watch PBA every night just to see you play again. Hahahaha.
More to come TIUtsie. I'll miss watching you in your blue jersey and sticking your tongue during free throws. Goodluck in your carreer after UAAP. :)
